Song of peace

To professor Zaven Yedigharians, father & lord of SOL ensemble

We watch darkness with open eyes; a leaden sky. People are searching for peace in all open and slightly open windows. At the same time, devil is searching the convulsion and imposes the culture of anarchy, but we still talk about harmony.

The existence has been put on fire but the humanity still sings the song of peace. It's difficult to believe, but the great culture of love doesn't teach other than friendship & peace, just like the song of angles in Mendelssohn's music which isn't but the celestial sound of freedom, tranquility & peace.

We are seeking happy days and joy. We are finding happiness in the pure laughter of the innocent.
It has been a long time since loyal friends have gone. Some of them, far and some not so far, but not so close either. They are reviewing their life to find, maybe, an excuse for being & passing time.

In the midst of these different trips, suddenly we are faced with the eternal trip of an old wise devotee of music. Since my childhood, he has been one of the messengers who invited all to wisdom, meaning & self-knowing. He taught everyone the song of peace in the divine feast of music. He was the master of love. He knew love like his fathers. He preached only love and wanted to create empathy & brotherhood amongst the mankind. Realizing his death annoys me & gradually creates an overwhelming emptiness in my life that can hardly be expressed; a sad and suffocating feeling.

He is gone and sleeps in eternal peace but there's no rest to our journey; music. So, we dedicate ?song of peace? to our friends, though we are aware of our human shortcomings. Music is neither the old false belief that the strangers have presented, nor a tool to escape from thinking. Music is a deep way of thinking. Music is a word full of symbols. In each note lies a meaning and in each sentence a secret of existence. A peace of mind to think and a solid will for edification of beneficence, purity & peace. No doubt that to reach this goal we need asceticism and practice.

Followers are calm and they humbly accept difficulties and hope that the earth hears their song of peace. Music reveals all faults of our thought and invites us to reflect, and while it is celebrating all benefices, it prohibits us from evil and turns us back to our roots.

So, culture remains & music shines because it drinks from the best spring source. Let's wish we search eternity in immortal sounds & attitudes of great men before it's too late.
Ten years of efforts in SOL MUSIC ENSEMBLE, resulting in ten albums, various concerts & different trips for music, sometimes may look exhausting but when there is passion & support, tiredness has no meaning.

Ten years of passing through the ocean of music literature with loyal friends of SOL, means that we are members of one family loving each other.

So, today we thank all who think, understand & increase their patience to find the meaning of the existence and like this, they help the human being to come back to his roots, being the paradise .
We humbly present the results of our suffering & joy in order that no sound remains unheard.
